Long time no see. A lot has happened since my last post. Let’s just call it life! We left one PCS station and are now settled into a new PCS station. The lovely Fresno, CA. Where the air is dry and hot, (104 to be exact) but the street tacos are AMAZING!
We sure do miss Italy, but are loving the conveniences of being back stateside. Lunch at 3pm, Amazon same day shipping and groceries that can be delivered to our door! Ah, America! We will definitely be back to Italy someday to visit. Allora.
So in other big news, mama’s back at work y’all! I only took a 4 year break from nursing. But luckily I was able to land an AWESOME job working as a nurse case manager for a insurance company. I literally got the call for an interview while we were driving across the country to California. So far it has been the perfect fit. I am so grateful.
My husband also started his new position in the army as ROTC instructor for Fresno State. He is the perfect guy to help mold and shape the minds of young officers. And the perks are we get field passes to all home football games! Score!
Here is our time at our first ever Fresno State football game. We may not have won (in double overtime) but it was definitely legend…wait for it…dary!
