Purification Essential Oil Blend by Young Living is a MUST have on hand oil for our household. Having a stubborn min pin who still thinks he’s a puppy, I pretty much use this oil daily. Purification Essential Oil Blend is a combination of Citronella, Lemongrass, Rosemary, Lavender, Myrtle, and Tea Tree oil. Here are just a few ways we use Purification in our house.
1. Funky Dishwasher
Have a funky smelling dishwasher? After cleaning out the filter at the bottom of your dishwasher, (did you know you
had one of those?) add a few drops to the bottom of your dishwasher and let it sit overnight. It will smell amazing in the morning! So fresh and so clean clean!
2. Musty Vacuum Air
Does your vacuum cleaner put out a dusty, musty smell when you use it? Simply put a few drops on a cotton ball and suck it up in your vacuum! The recycled air will now pass over the scented cotton ball and produce a more pleasant smell.
3. Fresh Carpets
Another vacuuming hack is to sprinkle some baking soda mixed with a few drops of Purification Essential Oil onto your carpet and let it set a while. Then vacuum it up and have a fresh smelling carpet or rug!
4. Stinky Shoes
I don’t know if everyone’s husband is like mine, but he works hard and is in his boots ALL day. I make him take them off outside because the smell so bad. When I can get my hands on them (with a nose plug of course), I spray them with my Anti-Stink Spray. Think Febreze but a lot less toxic!
Here is the recipe:
- 1 Glass Spray Bottle
- About 10 Drops of Purification Essential Oil Blend
- Fill the bottle with Water
Spray liberally wherever stinky feet are found! This is also great to use on pet beds and cat litter box areas! 
5. Fresh Cans
Put a few drops of Purification Essential Oil Blend on cotton balls and place them in the bottom of your trash cans or diaper pails to ward off those unpleasant odors.
6. Toxic Free Laundry
Don’t like using those toxic dryer sheets? Just apply a few drops to a washcloth and throw in with your laundry for fresh, non-toxic loads.
7. Does your kitchen still smell like your last dinner you cooked? Diffuse Purification Oil in your kitchen to get rid of those stale, greasy smells. Works great on bacon smell!
