We decided to spend our beautiful Saturday at Sirmione. Sirmione is a town on Lake Garda in the Veneto region of Northern Italy. It is about 1 hour away from Vicenza, Italy. It’s main attraction is this 13th century Castle.
The Sirmione Castle belonged to the Scaliger Family and features moats and drawbridges.
I got a new haircut and shades.
This is a view of the town of Sirmione from the castle. Simply beautiful!
There are SO many gelaterias in Sirmione. At least 2 on every corner!
I love the shutters and vines.
And these trees!
So pretty!
Another Gelateria.
Chris loved this boat.
Lunch with drinks…and this chubby bunny!
Cheers!
View of the Castle from the beach.
Chris wanted to feed the ducks and swans my leftover carbs. The big black footed swan practically ate out of his hands!
Chris finally got his Kit Kat and Nutella Gelato.
I got a Sugar Free Lemon Gelato! It tastes like lemon ice. So good! (And we acquired this cutie from a friend. She wasn’t to happy about staying in the hotel so we offered to take her home with us. Diva is practically a member of our family now LOL!)Beautiful Sea View. I love Lake Garda!
